I have just rediscovered the gloriousness that is Camille Saint-Saëns’ Carnival of the Animals. I haven’t listened to this in years. It’s beautiful, especially the finale.

I’ve been completely immersed in piles of schoolwork and apartment-related tasks. Yes, that’s right; I’ve finally settled into my new apartment. It’s taking some getting used to; there are days when I am utterly enthralled with the novelty of living in the heart of brownstone Brooklyn, and then there are days when I wonder why I ever thought leaving Manhattan behind would be a good idea—aside from the frugality aspect, that is.

I’ll keep you all posted, and as I grow more and more settled in and the number of apartment-related tasks with which I am saddled begins to decrease, I will gradually begin to work on the content and layout of the site again.
